Biography Dan Bowen has been performing magic for over eighteen years. Dan's interest in magic began when he was 5 years old after Santa Claus brought him a "Super-Dough Magic Kit". In second grade at Philip R. Smith School, Dan performed his first public show. Shortly thereafter, Dan began booking private shows. In March of 1997, he made the headlines of the Journal Inquirer with "It's Magic!" Following this article the largest singing group in the world, The Sweet Adeline's, invited Dan to perform his act in a segment of their show called "The Hand Is Quicker Than The Eye." Dan regularly performs over 400 shows per year. He has performed his magic at such places as New York Institute of Technology, Noah Webster Museum, South Windsor Strawberry Festival, and the Sun Valley Beach Club. He was also a featured performer for the Greater Hartford Open players' party at the Oakdale Theater. Dan Bowen continues to be one of magic's busiest rising stars, entertaining celebrities, corporations and audiences of all sizes.
